Hier grew up in Granada Hills and attended local schools, graduating from Kennedy High in
1973 a
member of the first graduating class.
Though he now lives in Oregon, Jim remains in active contact with friends and family still
living in Granada Hills and the Valley. An avid student of history, he has written
